Fresh BC Nettles

The wild nettle is an incredible super food with many health benefits. When served fresh, it must be lightly steamed or boiled. Flavour is wonderful-both fresh and earthy. Nettles can be used in place of spinach, kale, broccoli or asparagus as new green leafy vegetable. Save the water that nettles are cooked in as it is full of nutrients, and drink like tea.
